Environmental Effect

Plants and animals are responsible for many useful medicines. They also keep ecosystems healthy.Us humans depend on ecosystems to give us food and water, to clean are air ect. When a species from that area becomes endangered it indicates that the health of these ecosystems is beginning to decrease. The Northen spotted owl, listed as threatened in 1990, indicates the declining health of the acient forests of the Pacific forest. Also the pollution on the coast of Florida is killing the coral feefs along the Florida Keys. These reefs serve as habitat for hundreds of species of fish. The commercial fish species has begun to decline which causes a threat to the multi-million dollar tourism industry, which depends on the quality of the environment. As you can see endangered species has a big effect on rhe environment!!!!
